Hi everyone! Here you can find the books I'll be reading (and reviewing) this summer, from May until August. If anyone has any suggestions for books to add to later reading lists, feel free to post them in the comments!

1) The Shadow Queen by C.J. Redwine - this is a retelling of the classic fairy tale, Snow White, and the first book in the Ravenspire series.
2) The Diviner's Tale by Bradford Morrow - a murder mystery that promises to be a thrilling read, if the reviews and summary are any indication! The Boston Globe says, "In addition to scaring the daylights out of us, The Diviner's Tale stands up for the offbeat and unconventional in human nature."
3) The Divergent series (Divergent, Insurgent, Allegiant) by Veronica Roth - despite the fact that this series is pretty old, I still haven't read them, and they've been sitting on my TBR shelf for a while. Time to give them a shot (finally)!
4) The Traitor's Wife by Allison Pataki - this historical fiction novel is one that caught my eye because I love the Revolutionary War era! It's also reminiscent of one of my favorite TV shows, "Turn: Washington's Spies".
5) The Book Jumper by Mechthild Glaser - I just recently purchased this book, and I can't wait to dive right into it!
6) The Bone Witch by Rin Chupeco - the concept of this book is just incredibly fascinating, and the reviews are so good! Not to mention the cover art is absolutely stunning!
7) The Jane Austen Project by Kathleen A. Flynn - what's not to love about a time traveling mystery and saving the life of Jane Austen herself? My mom gave me this book for Christmas because she knows how much I love Jane Austen.
8) The Grisha Trilogy by Leigh Bardugo - I loved the Six of Crows duology that ties in with this series, so I'm sure that this will be a great read as well!
9) Stung by Bethany Wiggins - this is a dystopian book about the division of humanity that promises to be a thrill ride!
10) The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater - the first book in The Raven Cycle, this book is about a clairvoyant witch and true love, by an author that I think is truly amazing.
11) Arena by Holly Jennings - I picked this one up at a used book store a few months ago and it seems pretty interesting! The brief summary says: "Every week, Kali Ling fights to the death on national TV. She's died hundreds of times, and it never gets easier..."
12) A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas - this is one of the books that I'm most excited to read. I will be posting a (spoiler-free) review for the first two books in the series soon!
13) Enclave by Ann Aguirre - this book is reminiscent of The Hunger Games, and if I'm entirely honest I'm a little nervous that it will be too similar, but I'm still gonna give it a shot! Recommended to me by my younger brother, who has not yet read The Hunger Games or seen the movie adaptations.
14) The Palace of Laughter by Jon Berkeley - the whimsical cover and fantastical concept behind this book really excite me! It's a fantasy adventure about an angel, orphans, a talking tiger, and a peculiar circus.
15) Curses and Smoke by Vicky Alvear Shecter - a historical fiction novel of Pompeii that circles around a slave, the daughter of the man who owns him, and one of the worst disasters in history.
*Disclaimer: this is not a specific reading order, just a list of the books I hope to get read from May until August. I may not be able to get through them all, but I will review the ones that I do read!
